Mission Statement

The SCLC mission is to provide accessible legal advocacy to people living with physical and mental disabilities so that they may obtain the resources necessary to overcome barriers to financial and medical stability.

Description

The Seattle Community Law Center is dedicated to providing high-quality Social Security and SSI representation to the people who need benefits the most and are least likely to get it without assistance. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and our goal is to ensure that our clients are receiving the benefits to which they are entitled, regardless of their ability to pay for legal services.

I am a current board member and past intern at SCLC. The work they do to help the disabled members of our community is essential. If you are looking for a rewarding place to volunteer where you will really be able to see your impact, look to SCLC!
