Mission Statement

North Hills Community Outreach is an interfaith, nonprofit organization addressing the spiritual, emotional, physical and material needs of people in crisis, hardship, and poverty. NHCO provides information and education and facilitiates access to resources, to bring immediate help in a manner designed to preserve personal dignity and demonstrate the love of God.

Description

NHCO is an organization that directs the resources donated by local congregations, civic groups, businesses, schools, and individuals to meet the needs of our neighbors in crisis, hardship, and poverty. In year 2005-06, working with over 1,400 volunteers, NHCO served over 6,280 local families through Food & Emergency Services, Utility Assistance, Faith In Action Program and Support & Resources at five locations.

This organization is all about people. Wonderful things happen everyday at this unique place. Staff and volunteers all work together to provide as much help as is available. Paying it forward happens here.
