Mission Statement

Gannondale, a ministry of the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, provides holistic and therapeutic residential care for young women placed by the courts.

Description

Gannondale was established in 1934 to meet the needs of adolescent females who were experiencing behavioral, emotional and family difficulties that precluded their remaining in the community.

Owned by the Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, this 70 acre campus program is located on the outskirts of Erie, Pennsylvania, and provides a naturally therapeutic setting.

Gannondale serves females aged 12-18 who are adjudicated delinquent and/or dependent. Professional staff offer group and individual counseling, and provide 24 hour supervision.
