Description

STARS - Seniors Teaching And Reaching Students is an intergenerational tutoring program. We recruit and train older adults (55 and older) to be tutors and mentors for students K-4. The benifits include: Tution Units, Tax-free Stipend, Supplemental Insurance, Meals, and Travel Reimbursement. STARS is funded by ODA/Ohio Reads (Ohio Deptment of Aging) and Childrens Home of Cincinnati manages the program.
