Date of Event: Sunday, April 27th, 2025 Looking to make a difference in the community? Parents’ Place Family Resource and Empowerment Center is hosting their 30th Annual Information Fair & Festival. Our Information Fair provides an opportunity to families and professionals to come together to participate in activities and learn about resources available in their community. We are currently seeking volunteers to help with Moon Bounces, Game Booths, Prize Area, and the Ball Pit area during the Information Fair and Festival. Help play games with families and children, young adults, and professionals. Make sure families have signed the consent forms to play on the Moon Bounce area, remind families to participate in taking the survey and to turn survey at the registration areas to receive a Cotton Candy bag. Assist with distributing prizes out to children. Parents' Place helps families of children with special needs. Our Annual Information Fair & Festival is one of our largest events that we host. In order to prepare for the Information Fair & Festival, park clean up is done the night before. Gloves will be provided, masks, and sanitizer. Sunday, April 27th, 2025: Looking to make a difference in the community? Parents’ Place Family Resource and Empowerment Center is hosting its 30th Annual Information Fair & Festival. Our Information Fair provides an opportunity for families and professionals to come together to participate in activities and learn about resources available in their community. We are currently seeking an Adult Assistant Team Leader to help oversee the snack areas. The Assistant will help oversee volunteers and rotate as needed when the Snack Area Supervisor needs to refill generators, and/or ensure snack machines are working properly. We are currently seeking volunteers to help at our Check-In table. Volunteers will assist with welcoming volunteers, collect signed consent forms if not located in volunteer notebook. Provide name badge with assignment. Pass out volunteer shirts, wristbands for food, and certificates once assignment has been completed. Volunteers may also be asked to run errands throughout the park and/or relieve other volunteers as needed. Assist with picking up of items off the grass, concrete, helping to empty trash bags and taking them to the main trash bin at the parking lot area. Picking up recyclables, going to each activity area in the park to ensure the areas stays cleaned.
