The Emanuel Arts Council (EAC) is a community owned and operated non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and sponsor cultural programs in all areas of the arts , for the general community betterment and benefit of Emanuel County and surrounding areas. Concerned citizens come together and donate time, energy, and resources to bring events to our rural community such as the Mad Hatter’s Dance, Emanuel Ole’ Opry, Open Mic (held on the first Monday of each month), Artist’s Receptions (the first Sunday of the month), spring and summer camps, LaPetite Theatre for Young Audiences, and much more. Our events are made possible through grants from the Mill Creek Foundation, the City of Swainsboro, Grassroots Arts Programs, NEA, CH2HillOMI through Dollars for Doers, and contributions from people just like you. We invite and encourage all to join us in support of the Arts so we may ensure a better and brighter today, tomorrow, and for future generations.
