Mission Statement

Meals On Wheels Delaware provides funding and volunteer resources to our 5 member agencies in Delaware who deliver nearly 600,000 meals to homebound seniors each year. Volunteers support the effort by either delivering meals to the homebound elderly each weekday at lunchtime or by helping us plan our Best of Delaware award-winning fundraising events each April: the Celebrity Chefs' Brunch, Evening With The Masters, and Cellar Masters' Wine Auction as well as the Celebrity Chefs' Beach Brunch (each October).

Looking for a lunch that's good for your heart? Meals On Wheels Delaware agencies prepare and deliver 600,000 hot, nutritious meals to the homebound elderly in Delaware each year. We always need more volunteer meal delivery people who can help us during the lunch hour delivering meals to their local neighbors in need.
