Mission Statement

WE are dedicated to improving the welfare of donkeys through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, reduced reproduction and permanent sanctuary of donkeys, and donkey hybrids that would otherwise be at risk for neglect, abuse or death. WE seek to reduce owner abandonment of donkeys through education, training, financial services and lifelong support to Longhopes alumni and their adopters. WE seek to promote and create a national network of viable rescues to protect donkeys.
