I became disabled & I had many pressures, my family, health, surgeries, (still going on)marriage. I had a calling, to help people. 1st in my neighborhood, then the BOL Ministries & they accepted me with open arms. I have Vol. @ the soup kitchen, shelter & main office, everyone treats you so nice & really appeciates what you do for them. It doesn't matter if you volunteer 1 hour a month or 7 days a week. They are always there to greet you with a smile and so appreciated for anything you do to help. I needed something in my life at the time & still do & plan to go there again soon. I have major chronic depression & when I go to the BOL Ministries they make me feel wanted, needed and loved at the same time, in which I give back to them, by volunteering.
The best thing is the feeling you get inside and I leave with a smile & a warm feeling, 2 things I have not felt in a long time.
Thank U All @ the BOL Ministries, I was at a loss, now I have been found again.
