To prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation
Description
The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana (NKFI) is a state affilliate of the National Kidney Foundation, Inc. The National office was established in 1950; Indiana's office was started in 1970. Our major program areas include Patient Services, Public Education, Professional Education, Public Policy, and Minority Outreach. We also have staff to assist with fundraising and program development. Our constiuents include many types of organ transplant recipients, patients and family members, organ donor families, lay volunteers, and medical professional.
