Mission Statement
To equip at-risk adolescents with the tools for academic and personal success, with particular emphasis on literacy.
Description
Cornerstone serves middle-school students (aged 11-14 years) and high school students (aged 14 - 19) with one-to-one tutoring, mentoring programs and a summer academic day camp. Most of our students have challenges in school and life.
One-To-One Tutoring, always with volunteer tutors, is our primary academically focused program during the school year. Volunteers make a major impact on the lives of their students. Because of volunteers, the students
-- have more confidence,
-- learn skills needed for school -- and life -- success,
-- have fun learning!
