Mission Statement

LAMITCA'S MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of Lamitca is to provide underprivileged families, individuals and youth at-risk with free quality resources and programs that promote Health/ Wellness, Education and the Arts. These programs are used as vehicles to mentor at-risk youth and to promote life skills while increasing quality of life.

Description

Free Programs which focuses on the promotion of Health and Wellness, The Performing Arts and Education.

Poor Man's Gym: Fitness facility where local community can pursue their fitness goals at no cost.

Instruction in Classical Ballet. Class is also used as a mentoring tool to promote positive self image and self esteem.

Reading Literacy Program that promotes academic excellence in reading literacy for school aged children and adults
