Brooke Army Medical Center's (BAMC) mission is to improve th health of our community while ensuring deployment readiness of American soldiers. We do it by operating a customer-focused, quality integrated health care system and by conducting medial educaiton and research.

Description

BAMC is an internationally renowned medical institution, with sixty medical schools and hospital affiliations, community health programs, and other health-oriented foundations. In addition to a yearly inpatient load of almost one million outpatient visits per year, BAMC conducts post graduate educational programs for residents and fellows in eithgteen medical speciailties. Medical care is provided to military staff and the retiree population in the San Antonio area.

Because not only are the volunteers great professionals but the staff and patients at BAMC are super. They are compassionate, caring, dedicated, and want soldiers and all warriors, retirees and their families to have the best medical care in the world. There truly is no other military or civilian hospital like this one in the world, bar none! We just stick together thru thick or thin. Laura, your'e the greatest too. LTC (Ret) Jerry Gonzales
