Unverferth House

I was not a volunteer, I was the recipient of the wonderful volunteers at the Unverferth house. My mother was at OSU for surgery on an aneurysm. Unfortunately there were complications during surgery and she went into a coma and passed away 2 weeks later. It was the most horrible thing I've ever lived through. It was such a comfort to have a place to stay where we felt surround by others who understood what we were going through. Ann Carmichael was an angel, not to mention the Students who brought us food and left little surprises for us. This all took place over thanksgiving, the students even cooked us a thanksgiving dinner. My Father and I will always be grateful to the Unverferth house and its volunteers. Thanks from the bottom of our Hearts.
