Description

CDOA provides a wide range of programs and services to help senior citizens maintain their independence and health in their own homes and ensures that persons who live in nursing homes and other institutions are treated with dignity and care. The department is the designated Area Agency on Aging for the City of Chicago and operates several regional senior centers. CDOA also ensures that older people have access to accurate information for participating in public policy.
