Description

As a volunteer you will work with youth of various ages, skills levels, and ethnic backgrounds. Volunteers will assist in academics (an hour of homework time daily) and a variety of recreational and enrichment activities. You are expected to be a positive role model at all times which extends to appropriate dress, language, hygiene, and behavior.

Volunteers will be placed according to your availability in a classroom of 15-25 children to work with program leader directing daily activities. Your responsibilities will be varied, and may include but are not limited to simple administrative work, one-on-one tutoring and homework assistance, helping with snack time, and supervision of outside play. Your job duties may vary day to day depending on the needs of our program staff.
