Description

Castro/Upper Market Community Benefit District (Castro CBD) is a non-profit, com­munity-based organization funded by a special property tax assessment fee on the properties within the district boundaries. The Castro CBD is dedicated to the overall improvement of the district. Our top priorities are keeping the district clean, pedestrian friendly and well cared-for. Other priorities for the Castro CBD include improving the economic vitality of the district, greening the district with landscaping, plantings and pedestrian plazas, and improving the safety of the neighborhood.
