JFCS helps people of any religion or ethnic origin meet their full potential by restoring their well-being, cultivating self-sufficiency and strengthening family life.

Description
Jewish Family & Children's Services of Southern Arizona is a non-profit, social & behavioral health services agency. We provide Counseling, Case & Care Management, Emergency Financial Assistance and Medical Equipment Loans forTucsonfamilies. We offer our services on a sliding fee scale and accept most major medical insurances, including Medicare, for counseling.
Our counseling services help people of any age. For older adults and people with disabilities, our case managers and JFCS Select Care program help with care management, legal and financial management and in-home support services.
JFCS is one of just a few agencies in Tucsonthat still provides emergency financial assistance for families in need. We are the only authorized distributing agency for the Jewish Emergency Assistance fund inTucson.
Our medical equipment loan program takes in donations of medical equipment such as crutches, wheelchairs, shower chairs, toilet seat risers, hospital beds, electric scooters, etc. We inspect and repair them. Clean and sanitize each piece to OSHA standards. Then we make them available to the community for loan or sale at a reduced cost.
There are many volunteer opportunities for both direct client contact and administrative support of our programs. And, we accept donations, bequests and in-kind support to continue our mission.
