In community with the local Church, World Relief envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially, and spiritually.
Values
The Example of Jesus as we serve those who are suffering from poverty and injustice, regardless of color, belief, or gender, as part of God’s plan to redeem, reconcile, and restore the world. We seek to follow Jesus by living holy, humble, and honest lives individually and corporately.
Description
World Relief High Point joins churches and the community to serve the most vulnerable. We have two differnt programs to serve. The fist is a Refugee Resettlement Program. We resettle many differnt people groups in the Triad including people from Burma, Bhutan, Somalia, Sudan, Eritrea and Iraq. We serve our refugees in a way that helps them adapt to living in the United States and bring them closer to a life of self-sufficiency. Our second program is and Anti-Human Trafficking Program. We bring awareness to the community about human trafficking. We also serve survuvors of human trafficking to help them start a new life.
