Mission Statement

It is CYS mission to provide an opportunity for student athletes to learn the fundamentals of playing competitive sports and academic excellence, while instilling in them the values of discipline, hard work, and good attitudes and team sportsmanship. Our Vision is to develop the most elite group of athletes in the southeast for high school level and beyond.

Description

Established in February of 2010, Cobb Youth Sports 'CYS' is a registered 501 c3 nonprofit organization that supports and administrates youth sports programs for athletes in the greater Cobb County area. The founders of CYS share the common belief that through education and sports young people can acquire the tools needed for success. Serving all sectors of the community CYS is driven to find individuals who are committed to supporting youth development. We are a public charity supported by our many parents and sponsors who make charitable donations to cover operating expenses and registration fees. Currently, CYS supports teams that travel throughout the state of Georgia and play in national tournaments. Amateur athletes range in age from 9 to 17 years old. CYS volunteer's and members, are committed to providing dedicated coaching and development in an environment that emphasizes good sportsmanship, academic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, and leadership.
