Mission Statement

The mission of Dallas Afterschool is to improve the quality of afterschool and summer programs in our community. This is so that every child, no matter his or her location or family circumstance, has equal access to high-quality afterschool programming.

Description

Dallas Afterschool achieves its mission by serving as a professional resource and advocate for afterschool providers. We collaborate with individuals and organizations to bring resources to our member organizations in order to improve the quality of their afterschool programming. Dedicated volunteers are a valuable resource and an integral part of afterschool programs, as they provide children with more individual attention that can help a child excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
