Mission Statement

Family Promise of Moore County provides shelter, meals and hospitality to homeless families with children through a cooperative network of local congregations. Family Promise of Moore County offers to these families and other disadvantaged persons comprehensive assistance in the areas of transportation, compassionate supportive services and advocacy to assist them in achieving their potential of independent living.

Description

Family Promise provides safe, secure shelter to families experiencing homelessness. We also provide intensive case management services and link families with needed community resources. We work with families to help them secure employment and then assist with locating affordable housing.

Our Wheels to Work program provides low cost transportation to low income workers.
