CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS Ma'on San-Simon, Home for Disabled People Gonen, P.O.Box 8447, Jerusalem 91083, Israel E-MAIL: ofra_gur@hotmail.com The residence is an Home for 30 men and women. The age range is 25 -60 years. Most of the residents confined to wheelchairs and need help with activities of daily living (A.D.L.).

Description

The volunteers are helping in physical realm as well as encourage the residents and help to raise their moral. They accompanies the disabled people to the supermarket, bank, clinic and hospital visit. On occasion they spend a few days with individuals in their family home to care for their needs. If you find it essential, I will be happy to send "working procedures for volunteer "to you. Will you be so kind to send the follow to me: 1. letter from your physician to confirm your good health. 2. recommendation from last employer or from school. 3. Health insurance will be needed for the whole period of your staying as a pre-condition. We look forward to see you volunteering with us.
