Mission Statement

Our Mission: Empowering individuals to become self-sufficient through education, training, and employment. The Community Technology Center has been established to ensure access to technology and telecommunication resources for youth and adults with significant educational and economic disadvantages.

Description

Youth will utilize the resources of the CTC during after-school, weekend, and summer hours for technology supported educational enrichments that will lead to attainment of academic standards and improved educational outcomes. Parents and children will participate in CTC family literacy programs that utilize technology to support desired educational goals for adult family members and assist parents to support the educational and developmental needs of their children. Programs include Keyboarding, Introduction to Computers(Word), Excel, Family Literacy, Parent/Child activities, Internet and e-mail, Job Readiness/Search, and open lab time.
