Mission Statement

Family Promise of Southwestern Pa is an interdenominational program that links local congregations to offer round-the-clock shelter, meals and social services to homeless families in southern Allegheny County and the Washington, Pennsylvania area.

Description

In addition to shelter, Family Promise provides other services, such as helping clients find sources of income and deal with health issues, as well as follow-up care after they leave the program. The local program has helped an estimated 1500 people since its inception.
