Mission Statement

ScfC was created in the United Kingdom by Iestyn Thomas and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charity in the United States two years later. ScfC has a two part mission:

1. To encourage young Americans to lead healthy, active lifestyles by providing a format that can be easily initiated and sustained

2. To encourage global citizenship by providing a familiar and effective way for young people to help other children much less fortunate than themselves.

Description

Schoolchildren for Children Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) charity operating in the USA since 2007. ScfC encourages health and fitness in American youth and also provides funding for overseas organizations that help provide children with safe drinking water, food, shelter, sanitary living conditions and basic education through sponsored exercise.
