The Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center is a neighborhood approach to the revitalization and empowerment of a community in crisis. The Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center provides a safe and caring environment, whereby the youth of our community, in the context of their families, can share, grow, and develop into productive citizens in our society. The Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center provides tutoring, support groups, community youth service, job readiness, and other services needed to achieve this mission.
The Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center is an after-school program offering online tutorial programs, homework help, computer classes, recreational programs, field trips, and personal classes for both boys and girls from ages 8 to 18.
