We are a private, not-for-profit, no-kill humane society that provides a haven for homeless, abused & abandoned animals. We have been bringing pets and people together for over 40 years!

Description

The Kent Animal Shelter is a private, not for profit humane society founded in 1968 to provide a haven for homeless, abused and abandoned animals until new homes can be found. Over 600 animals are placed in responsible homes each year. Located on scenic property near the Peconic River in Calverton, New York, with a dedicated staff, exercise facilities and expert medical supervision, Kent is much more than a shelter. There are currently over 100 dogs and cats at the shelter, all waiting for there forever homes.
