Mission Statement

Delta College AmeriCorps ECEL (Early Childhood Education and Literacy) and Teacher TRAC Programs are dedicated to improving the reading and literacy abilities of low income and limited English-speaking infant-toddlers, preschoolers, and K-6 children who are functioning below their age appropriate literacy levels.

Description

Delta College students tutor preschoolers (ECEL) or K-6 students (Teacher TRAC) students for 10 to 20 hours per week and earn an AmeriCorps "ed" award.
