This is the best place to volunteer in the Hartford County. The executive and volunteer coordinator are very nice people, and they appreciate the work you do for them. I had a good time everytime I volunteered, and it is for a good cause. Go to the Lutz!

There are so many volunteer opportunities at this museum - we have volunteers working with our animals, our classes, our exhibits, museum maintenance, outreach, our nature center, our main events, and so much more! I personally am an intern working with advertising and community outreach and I love it so much - the staff is like a family, and treats you as part of the family. Definitely an organization I would recommend to any volunteer aged 10 to 100.

This is a wonderful institution. I took my little brother there, and also sponsored a cute little owl there for a month. I think this is a great hometown institution and they are very worthy of your time, money and attention. Thank you Lutz for bringing education, art, science and most of all Live animals to our neighborhood.
