At Hospice Care of Kansas and Hospice Care of the Midwest we strive to enhance and enrich quality of life for our patients as they deal with end-of-life issues. Our mission is to give the highest level of care to patients and their families. It is vital to embrace our patients and their loved ones with quality care, comfort, support and compassion. Our dedicated professional staff and volunteers help to make this happen. Volunteers are not involved in personal care. Roles include visiting and companionship, sharing memories, socializing and listening to concerns. Other roles include pet therapy, music therapy, handyman tasks, caregiver respite and office help.
