Mission Statement

The Civic Center Volunteers program manages an effective partnership between community volunteers and Marin County government. The program provides a creative use of resources that facilitate and enhance county goals and services.

Description

The Civic Center Volunteers program was founded in 1979 by the Marin County Board of Superivors. It serves all county departments -- at the Civic Center and in satellite locations such as library branches, fire lookout towers, and more. The CCV program develops volunteer roles that extend county services while supporting the needs and interests of community volunteers. The CCV program supports and recognizes volunteers and department staff members who work with them.
