The mission of CVHS is to ensure the humane treatment of all domestic animals and to promote the advancement of animal welfare

Description

CVHS is the community resource for all things furry! We provide temporary shelter to over 2000 companion animals annually at our open door, full-access facility. We also offer humane education, humane investigations, special events, low income spay/neuter assistance and general support and assistance for all pet owners.

At Central Vermont Humane Society, it really is all about the animals. We are here to provide a helping hand and temporary home for our animal friends in need. CVHS serves Washington and Orange Counties.
