Mission Statement

Each year, thousands of volunteers commit their time and resources to Ironman Triathlons. In recognition of their vital support, the Ironman Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 organization, was established. The Ironman Foundation provides charitable support to other non-profit organizations in the communities where Ironman, Iron Girl & Ironkids events are held. The Ironman Foundation is devoted to improving lives and communities in the United States through donations to other non-profit organizations responsible for the health, well-being and care of citizens in need.

Description

April 13-17, 2011. The 2011 Ochsner Ironman 70.3 New Orleans event will rely on more than 1,200 event volunteers to ensure a successful, safe and exciting event. The event will begin at UNO (Lake Ponchartrain), continue through the city & finish in the French Quarter (Jackson Square).
