Mission Statement

The mission of the Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau is to provide promotion, services and destination sales and development efforts for the City of Omaha to increase trhe number of conventions and visitors resulting in increased revenues and economic growth.

Description

The Omaha Convention & Visitors Bureau is a department of city government employing 18 full-time staff members, five part-time staff members and more than 70 volunteer Ambassadors.

In addition to promoting the city of Omaha as a destination city for conventions and leisure travelers, the Omaha Convention & Visitors Bureau provides visitors with an array of services designed to enhance their stay within the city.
