We exist to assist victims of violence and to promote safety, peace, and respect for all individuals.
Description
The Community Violence Intervention Center consists of 5 programs that work together to save lives, rebuild lives and end local violence.
Community Innovations: Provides community education, training and strategic collaboration to improve our local response to domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
Kids First: Provides supervised parenting time and child exchanges in a safe and child-friendly location.
Light of Hope: Provides crisis intervention, counseling, shelter, transitional housing, legal services and safety planning for adults and children experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
New Choices: Provides psycho-educational groups for adults who have been violent with their intimate partner.
Pathways Toward Justice: Provides court advocacy for victims and witnesses of personal injury and property crimes in adult and juvenile court.
