Mission Statement

Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Our Values: The YMCA is committed to putting Christian principles into practice. YMCA programs, activities and relationships teach and model Judeo-Christian values in order to strengthen kids, families and communities. Caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, faith are core values evident in all that we do. Our Cause:

At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow & thrive.

Who We Are:

The Y is the nation's leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living & social responsibility.

What We Do:

The Y makes accessible the support & opportunities that empower people & communities to learn, grow & thrive. With a focus on youth development, healthy living & social responsibility, the Y nurtures the potential of every youth & teen, improves the nation's health & well-being, & provides opportunities to give back & support neighbors.

How we do it: There is no other nonprofit quite like the Y. That's because we have the presence & partnerships to not just promise, but to deliver, lasting personal & social change.

  • The Y is community centered. For 125 years, we've been listening & responding to our communities.
  • The Y brings people together. We connect people of all ages & backgrounds to bridge the gaps in community needs.
  • The Y nurtures potential. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn, grow & thrive.
  • The Y has local presence & national reach. We mobilize local communities to effect lasting, meaningful change.

The Y...for social responsibility

We know that when we work as one, we move people and communities forward. That's why we are committed to providing support to our neighbors and opportunities for kids, adults and families to give, join in or advocate in the name of stronger communities.

Social Services...

Build something good today

To bring about meaningful change, individuals need ongoing encouragement and tools. We're here day-in and day-out to provide the resources our communities need to address the most pressing social issues: child welfare, education, employment, housing and substance abuse. We work to make sure every child, family and community has what they need to achieve their best.

Would you recommend Weekely YMCA?

I volunteered with this organization the weekley family ymca on stella link, and they expect for you to giva all our time then they expect for us to donate as much money, volunteers are volunteers, it disgusted me, they are very fishy, they are not the best, and they just need outreach to continue their non profit status, the Y is not exactly what we all think, do not volunteer for this organization, volunteer where you will feel the passion from the organization, not just about money money and money and be expected to give more then what we do as a volunteer then they expect for us to write a 700 hundred dollar check...not my type of organization....
