Mission Statement

ATLAS is committed to providing an adult literacy program that is responsive to the basic educational needs of the residents of our diverse community. It is our vision that our students, as lifelong learners, will become informed, contributing citizens of the community and knowledgeable, self-directed members of their families and the workforce.

Description

ATLAS literacy provides adults with one-on-one and small-group tutoring in basic reading, writing, and math. Instruction is conducted by volunteers in a classroom setting, under the guidance and support of a credentialed adult school teacher.
