Mission Statement

The mission of the Training Institute at Welcoming Light, Inc. is to provide high quality employee training employee assistance and staff development programs, services and conferences to area health and human service professionals, in order to enhance their ability to provide mental health treatment, affordable housing, HIV/AIDS care, substance use disorder treatment and prevention, minority health support, and related services to the most vulnerable members of our community.

Description

We offer access to experts in mental health issues, HIV/AIDS, housing, homelessness, drug and alcohol dependency, healthcare, grant writing, public communications, and more.

In additions to trainings, the Institute coordinates statewide education, and provides fiscal management, and technical support for conferences of all types. Our training and conference rooms are ideally suited for your offsite meeting, and are equipped with state of the art webconferencing and presentation technologies.
