Mission Statement
The Cornerstone CDC has been formed to respond to the needs of residents living in the inner-city communities of Dallas, Texas. With the problems of teenage, violence, drug abuse, homelessness, unemployment and underemployment facing these neighborhoods, our mission is to assist the residents in breaking out of the cycle of poverty and live productive lives as they give back to their community.
Description
The Cornerstone CDC is a strong advocate for community outreach and focused on rebuilding lives within poverty-stricken neighborhoods that are embedded with high degree of drug and alcohol abuse. CCDC is currently in the process of making plans to construct the Cornerstone Care Center, which will house a clothes closet, food pantry, computer/job training area, after-school programs for youth, transitional housing and much more for the residents living in the inner-city of South Dallas and the Fair Park area.
