Mission Statement

The mission of the Chester County Solid Waste and Recycling Department is to provide leadership and support in overseeing the contracted daily operations of environmentally sound solid waste and recycling facilites; to provide waste reduction programs and to promote stewardship of our communities through litter prevention, beatification, recycling, and environmental education.

Description

The Chester County Solid Waste & REcycling Dept partners with Freed Hardaman University every year to host the Great American Clean Up Day. April 2, 2011 at 7:30am on the courthouse lawn. Volunteers will cleanup up two roads near town and plant flowers and trees around town.
