The achievement of Clark County's mission is best served by the active participation of citizens of the community. To this end, Clark County Public Works accepts and encourages the involvement of volunteers at all levels and within all appropriate programs and activities. All department employees are encouraged to assist in the creation of meaningful and productive roles in which volunteers might serve and to assist in the recruitment, management, and recognition of department volunteers. The goal of the Volunteer Program is to increase or improve the capabilities of paid staff through the effective utilization of community volunteers, while complying with applicable laws and county requirements.
