Our Ideals:

• We all have something to give. We believe that Unite Our World can be your outlet to creating positive social change.
• All people have the right to an education, medical treatment, and free thought.
• We believe in empowering people around world - not imposing our beliefs on others. We work with local counterparts to help them benefit their communities.
• We seek to create financially sustainable projects that will one day no longer need our financial support or involvement.
• We consider environmental implications in all of our projects.

Unite Our World is currently working in Mweruka, Uganda, with our efforts focused to giving children in Mweruka village free access to education and medical treatment. We've partnered with Blessings of Joy, Uganda, to help empower the local comunity of Mweruka. This local NGO helps oversee Unite Our World's programs in Uganda, and is vital in transporting medication and school supplies to our projects.

Our primary goals for 2011 are:

• To raise $6000 for all teachers' salaries at Mweruka Junior School
• To complete two new classrooms in order to assure students can continue to their education. Every classroom built will enable another grade of students to advance to up another grade. We still need Grades 6 and 7.
• To explore community-based service projects in the village of Mweruka to increase community and parental involvement. Projects would not only empower the individuals involved, but also provide Mweruka Junior School with a food source for school lunches from local farms.
