Mission Statement

Operation: Military Kids is the U.S. Army's collaborative effort with America's communities to support children and youth impacted by deployment.

Regardless of whether Families are experiencing deployment for the first time, the second time or another in a series of multiple deployments, OMK’s goal is to connect military children and youth with local resources in order to achieve a sense of community support and enhance their well-being.

Do have a passion for working with youth? Are you looking to enhance your resume with quality leadership experience? Do you just need a fun volunteer activity that involves hand on experience working with children? If any of these questions entice you we have the answer for you here at Ohio Operation Military Kids.

Operation Military Kids operates throughout the state of Ohio wherever military children are located. Our programs typical occur in the following areas: Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Toledo. We do fun programs throughout the year that we are always looking for new volunteers for our many events. Some of our volunteer opportunities require only a few hours and some of them are extended. We have many opportunities including: weekend and weeklong summer camps, 30/60/90 day yellow ribbon events, family weekend trips and much more.
