ALYN Hospital is more than Israel’s premiere comprehensive rehabilitation center for physically disabled children. It is where the impossible becomes possible . . . the ordinary is extraordinary and where disabilities are transformed into abilities. ALYN’s patients range in age from infants to young adults. Some have very minor orthopedic issues and some have extremely complicated conditions as a result of brain and spinal cord injuries, congenital or progressive muscle deterioration and nerve and bone diseases. The Hospital also welcomes patients who have survived severe burns or after brain tumor surgeries. ALL are treated at ALYN, regardless of ethnic or religious origin.

The staff at ALYN combines expertise with love to empower physically challenged children to reach their highest possible levels of mobility and independence. Multi-disciplinary rehab takes place in various units such as Active Rehabilitation, the Respiratory Rehabilitation ICU, a unique Day Care Center (combining medical, educational and rehab components), the Independent Living Center for young adults and specialized Out Patient Clinics. ALYN receives no automatic government funding. Only a portion of each child’s customized care is reimbursed by health insurance. Your generosity helps bridge the funding difference.
