Michigan Peaceworks

Description

Michigan Peaceworks was formed shortly after the 9-11-01 attacks to focus our nation on finding peaceful solutions to problems. We advocate for an end to all wars, particularly the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We call for an end to anti-immigrant, anti-muslim and racists attacks by individuals and government entities. We call for a return to democratic government in the United States and applaud the work of people all over the world to nonviolently change their governments from dictatorships to democracies. We support equal rights and civil liberties for all people.
