Mission Statement

The Glendale Humane Society (No Kill shelter ) exists to embody and demonstrate specific core values and to promote and demonstrate humane standards in the care, treatment and guardianship of animals. We embrace the challenge of re-defining community standards, through demonstration of our commitment to our mission and through the ongoing promotion of state-of-the-art education programs and creative endeavors, designed to benefit all animals and friends and owners of animals. We are pledged to create a workplace that attracts employees who share our standards and are proud of the work we do together. We are committed to the creation of a facility that attracts positive public attention and offers a positive experience for every visitor, with employees who are considerate as well as concerned, trained as well as talented, and who wholeheartedly embrace the Mission of this Society.
