Mission Statement
As a nonprofit cultural service agency, FAF provides a wide range of services and initiatives to advance its mission: We envision a world that is guided by understanding and respect - a world where people recognize they are all indispensable pieces of a complex and magnificent puzzle - threads in an intricate and beautiful tapestry. FAF's activities aim towards these goals relying on the unique ability of arts and culture to bridge gaps between communities. For instance, the Foundation's Finding New Hope project brings together families affected by terrorism in family retreats and children's camps that are free to all participants.
Description
Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization that creates and leads transformative cultural exchanges, building friendships that advance mutual understanding and global peace.
FAF promotes intercultural exchanges that reduce tension, increase mutual understanding, cooperation, reconciliation, and the ability for cultures to meet in meaningful ways; the foundation also believes that Cultural Tourism can be a resource for communities seeking locally managed, sustained growth and development.
