Mission Statement

New Perspectives seeks to provide services in Marin that will help insure that Marin's youth grow up into happy and healthy individuals with a connection to their community and as many opportunities as possible for their future.

Description

New Perspectives supports four after-school programs in the low-income neighborhoods in San Rafael. In part, these programs provide academic intervention and homework assistance to at-risk students in order to help them achieve passing grades and then go on to excel. Also, these programs provide non-traditional enrichment activities such as hip-hop dancing and spanish ghost stories! At these programs we strive to provide a safe space in which students can engage in their education and recreation.
