The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Description

We are a local unit to serve Chinese ancestry population in California. We offer standard American Cancer Society patient support services plus a couple of specialized services for Chinese population. We routinely run educational outreach events and Relay for Life is one of the most visible community fund raising activities in Bay Area.
